notes on Eternal Draft:

Nine drawings, completed by Tedd Anderson in 2006 while pursuing a BFA in Painting, sat in portfolios for over a decade.  Time proceeded to rob relevance from these works.  While becoming mementos, these drawings plagued Tedd.  They were drawn on luscious, 300lb watercolor paper - a resource that could not simply be recycled.  The drawings were simultaneously unshowable and precious in their natural resources.  In a desperate measure, Tedd quartered each composition and began reworking them.  These shattered compositions became Eternal Draft.  In these works, Tedd enters a timewarp where he collaborates with his 21 year old self; a task that makes evident how we can become strangers to ourselves over time.
